Living with warmth
Yaks are a type of cattle that live in highland regions more than 3,000 m above sea level.
The yak's supple, warm winter hair protects it from cold temperatures that can drop as low as -20°C.
To preserve these precious yaks and their grasslands, we wait until the summertime, when yaks naturally begin to shed their winter hair. Human hands then carefully comb out the hair by hand.
Our dark mocha brown knitwear shows off the yak's winter coat in its natural colour, without any bleaching.
